FAQs
Your guide to using and maintaining the US TX SC16 Electric Floor Scrubber.
How long does the battery run on a full charge?
Working time is approximately 1.5–2 hours, depending on floor condition, brush pressure, and operator speed.
How long does it take to fully charge?
Charging time is typically 6–8 hours. For best battery life, charge after each cleaning shift.
What types of floors is the SC16 suitable for?
The SC16 is ideal for most smooth hard floors such as sealed concrete, epoxy, tile, vinyl, and finished surfaces. For rough/porous floors or heavy grout lines, performance may vary—choose the correct brush/pad for the surface.
Why is water left behind after cleaning?
Check the squeegee blades for wear or debris, confirm the recovery tank lid is sealed, and make sure the suction motor is running. Also inspect the vacuum hose for clogs and verify the squeegee is properly adjusted to the floor.
What maintenance is recommended?
After each use: empty and rinse the recovery tank, rinse the solution tank if needed, clean the squeegee and brush/pad, and wipe down the machine. Regularly inspect squeegee blades and brush condition, and keep the machine on a normal charging routine.
Can I use any cleaning chemical in the solution tank?
Use low-foam, auto-scrubber-safe detergents. Avoid highly foaming cleaners, bleach mixtures, or harsh acids unless the chemical is specifically approved for floor scrubbers, as foam and corrosion can damage components.
